Amsterdam

So Tyler and I went on a 2 day trip to Amsterdam. We took a train out of Paris at 6:45 a.m. and arrived in Amsterdam at 10:30 a.m. While we were there we walked all over the city, did some really good shopping (Tyler is such an amazing husband to enjoy shopping with me :)), took a bike tour of the countryside, ate some good food and TONS of ice cream.

We were SO tired on the train ride there!

Our Lovely hotel room.

On one of our hotel room walls was a copy of a giant Van Gough painting. Since one of the largest Van Gough museums is in Amsterdam.

I had to take a picture of one of the windows from all the vintage stores we went in. There were so many amazing vintage shops. Tyler got some killer outfits I am sure we will blog about eventually. :)

This is one of the many canals that runs through the streets of Amsterdam. You could see people and families out on their boats having parties or cocktails just cruising around. It was really cool to see all the different boats.

Getting ready to take off on our Bike Tour of the Amsterdam Countryside.

We were able to see how they make Gouda cheese- and taste lots of it!

We also saw how they make cloggs.

There were TONS of different designs they had made. I was tempted to buy some- but when we tried them on we looked like clowns. They were GIANT.

These were the dairy cows that they used to make their cheeses. Wow- they smelled AWFUL!

When we were walking back to the train station at the end of our trip we noticed this HUGE bike parking garage. I have never seen so many bikes in my life. Amsterdam is the Bike Capital of the World.
