I really liked my devotional from yesterday and thought I would share a little bit of it with you. Lately I have been getting worried/anxious about the future and all that it will hold- so these words really convicted me and made me realize how much more to life there is than worrying or stressing. God is good! He is there to listen to us and to comfort us. It is so easy to get caught up in worldly matters and think you are in control of it. I have to remind myself every day that He is in control and I still forget.
God planned out all of your days- how cool is that? He knows everything that will happen- so do not stress about it because you are not in control. Rejoice!
"In order to hear my voice, you must release all your worries into my care. Entrust to Me everything that concerns you. This clears the way for you to seek My Face unhindered. Let Me free you from fear that is hiding deep inside you. Sit quietly in My presence, allowing My Light to soak into you and drive out any darkness lodged within you.
Accept each day just as it comes to you, remembering that I am sovereign over your life. Rejoice in this day that I have made, trusting that I am abundantly present in it.
